[Daniel Wellington - or not?] Little experiment in a fake watch

I was looking for a minimalist watch to wear when I didn't want to wear my Orient Bambino for fear of it being lost or stolen and across the Daniel Wellington brand of watches, however I didn't want to spend a crazy amount on a backup watch...that is when I saw a youtube video comparing a fake/replica DW to a real one and I thought hey, I'll give that a go!

So it arrived, and I have to be honest, the nato strap that comes with it is actually really nice, but I had this (also fake) alligator leather strap laying around so I swapped it out to that, and I have to say...for £12, this is insanely good! Side by side you cannot really tell much if any difference between the real and replica, the only difference is in the weight, and that's not actually a bad thing because the fake feels really nice with it being so light on the wrist.

Overall happy with the buy, because the original DW is basically just a quartz minimalist watch at heart anyway, so why spend £200 when you can spend £12 ;)

If i didn't have my V2 bambino, then i would definitely wear this as an every-dayer, keeps time well obviously because it's quartz.
