Dear non-asexual people: if you were in a relationship with someone and they sat you down and said they are asexual, what would your reaction be?

Speaking as an asexual, please have a serious talk about this. Don't just say "I want to be with you, and if that's a part of you then it will work out!" and then two days later pressure me into having sex and ask the question every week "when are we gonna have sex?"

I am sex resulted, she knew this, and it tore me up inside because she would say "it's fine that you're like this" then showed with her actions that it wasn't. My mind was in traumatic limbo for the majority of the time we dated.

This was the most depressing point of my life. We broke it off and I don't miss her. Please just have this talk and be honest with your BF/GF, and (for the love of God) no means FUCKING NO.
