This is the graph from the first picture you have. Read further. No, they didn't adjust for equal education. All they did is only consider the people who had college education or more, which Asians tends to have a lot more Masters and PhD by proportion than whites.
This is obviously not the way to properly adjust for education level.

Here are the two proper comparison. Just do a Google search "Asian American White PhD earning". White PhD earner have higher wages than Asian earner.
