Deputies ask man to quit calling about his stolen marijuana

lol I wouldn't believe a word a company trying to sell radar detectors tells you, never go to the seller of a product for accurate information.

This is gonna sound like bs but I really have no reason to make shit like this up over a discussion on reddit but one of the companies I manage IT for develops ultrasonic technology and has a PhD on staff who invented our product, he specializes in radio/light/sound waves.

I have helped with some software development in the past so I would say I have a higher than average understanding of the technology but am by far no expert.

From my understanding of light/sound/radio waves I am positive in theory it is possible to do, however I am not an expert.

I will ask him tomorrow if it is possible he may say it is not but I know this will be one of those side projects he would be interested in and we have all the equipment required to test it.

I also grew up with a guy who is now a cop who told me it is what OPP use but he has lied in the past so I may be mistaken.

I will find out tomorrow if my coworker can find any papers on it and or any products that do this, and if not I will test it in the lab to see how it works at slow speeds, then connect it to my car to test.

I am 99.999% sure we can make something to do this if it has not already been done.

I am sure it has been done tho, there are vehicles with LIDAR that report the telemetry around them and the speed of oncoming traffic and traffic in front of them is one of the data points.
