Detroit students have the right to an education, federal appeals court rules

Everyone has to make the choices that are best for their child. My niece who is deaf may be better off if a school for the deaf. My nephew is at a military academy. Another nephew is at a state school for gifted kids. My rural school district is awful and could not provide a decent education for my gifted son. Everyone has to do what’s best for their kid.

I don’t care if you agree. If your kid had a 140 IQ was reading at two and by third grade was doing high school work. Would you want them sitting there learning how to multiply? My son is entitled to peers and role models too.

Public school is only to teach the masses if you are an outlier you need to look elsewhere. Thank god for charters private schools magnet schools and cyber schools.

Everyone needs to make their decision in the best interest of their child.
