in a developer's perspective, what do you think genshin does amazingly that helps it keep it's players

Bro did you not even read what i wrote? Where did I mention that Genshin does not have reskin enemies? Or did you not read that I did say some events ARE low effort - which is not a bad thing per se? Or do you think that the players themselves don't actually want a rerun of previous events? The difference is some games ONLY did that most of the time; while Genshin still releases high quality events, regions with unique feels and architectures, etc etc.

I don't care about defending a company but gotta give credit where its due. And by credit i mean that Genshin is comparatively way better than the average game, especially mobile games, in their content and update quality. It's also one of the reason why their development and maintenance costs are so damn high they make it to the list of highest game budget - they actually spend lots of money on the game unlike many other cashgrab games.
