As much as I feel this is the right move, anyone in here needs to face the potential that the wider gaming community (particularly within reddit) is apparently not even close to as upset about the recent developments as this sub.

That said on Jan 30 EA reported earnings and they highlight games that are even older than BFV and barely make any mention of Battlefield other than a new title is planned in the fiscal year starting April 2021. It's possible not all is well and maybe we see some changes like this sub has been asking for, but considering what I've seen in other subs I'm not so sure people hate it as much as I thought. Additionally PC revenue is a fraction of what console revenue provides so I'm starting to understand more and more why there's so little love given to it, particularly for anti-cheat (not that there are zero console cheats it just seems more prevalent on PC).
