Discrepancy on Credit Report

Give your loan processor a few days to hear back from the credit bureau.... he/she may very well be able to order a credit supplement from the bureau that gets the BK dropped from your loan application.

I would do a free scrub of all 3 credit reports (can only be done once annually) for Experian, Equifax and TransUnion- see if any of them report the CH 13, if they do you can dispute them. Doesn't hurt and annual maintenance/review to your credit reports is recommended.

More than likely it's a similar name and minor investigation by the credit bureau can identify the CH 13 to have a middle initial that is not yours (or some other identifying factor) then the processor, using your state ID or other loan application documents, can order a credit supplement to get the BK removed (in this case it would be more like "waived") from your credit application so the Underwriter can make their final decision.

This is a fairly normal procedure and requires a few extra days of investigation and tends to get resolved without anything from you. If your credit score is low or lower than before, that's an indicator that it might erroneously be on your actual credit report.
