Discussion: Oh, man, what are people talking about? The DC Cinematic Universe is great!

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the movies but as someone who’s been reading DC comics for over fifteen years, these movies just aren’t living up to their potential.... They’re not. DC has some of the greatest heroes, villains, and storylines in comic book history. I have yet to see that up on the big screen in this universe. I won’t pretend all the MCU movies are good, but they know what they’re doing, and it fucking HURTS watching that Infinity War trailer over and over again knowing the potential that this universe had. It’s all ruined now. Regardless of what happens now, the foundation is just tarnished forever. A talking raccoon and a tree are more beloved than two of the most iconic superheroes ever created. That’s not great. These movies should be stomping all over the MCU and they’re simply not good
