Doctor Who's 13th Time Lord is Jodie Whittaker

You don't even know what race or gender i am? Quit making accusations. There is not a disproportional amount of representation. It's about demographics and location. Guys often/generally like action movies more than romance movies. Asian actors are more represented in Asian countries. There are of course tv shows and movies that go beyond and above these demographics and locations. Shows like Game Of Thrones and the aforementioned X-Files. These shows have an impact on everyone sure and it inspires people. But in the end people take inspiration from everywhere and not just from movies alone. Why do we need more women in science and medicine? Other than just because they are women and in the minority. Just because there are people in the minority doesn't make it inherently bad. Its also not because women do a better job than men. Both can do the job just fine. A Tv Show can motivate women to go into science, that can be a good thing but a Show not doing that doesn't inherently make it bad. People making a big deal out of representation just want equality of outcome which is impossible and not how it should work.
