Does anyone else not hate Tomm Hulett?

This has come up before and I agree. To be fair, the Tom Hulett anger is also as common as the ‘Konami is Terrible and only wants to make pachinko machines’ comments. Everyone hates Konami at least as much.

I think what I don’t see getting discussed as much are the frustration over changes in the industry itself. It seems the reality, even at the time during the golden years of SH, team members were unhappy working for Konami and leaving. Sounds like they had to fight like hell for creative control under exhausting work conditions, and I have read Konami possibly screwed over takayashi sato in particular in regards to forming his company SATOWORKS in conjunction with Konami for working on SH2. Whatever happened, he never worked for Konami after SH2, and left Japan, citing that he felt working conditions in Japanese gaming companies were getting worse.

By the time of SH3, a bunch of original members were gone, and to me I already saw evidence in 3 that Konami realized they had a marketable franchise on their hands, and were trying to make 3 more marketable than earlier games.
