True repentance is doing away with the sin altogether. You can't just repent of something and say you're sorry then go back to doing the same things you were sorry for before. That's tempting God. Anytime we sin we're putting Jesus back on the cross each time. We're putting the nails in his hands, his feet. We're the guards that whipped him tearing his flesh off his body. It's not even about action, it's even the THOUGHT of wanting to sin that starts the evil. So if an evil thought comes into your mind, say "I Rebuke you Satan in the name of Jesus Christ, I plead the blood of Jesus over my life". You may have to say this several times but the demons inside of you making you want to sin will FLEE at the mention of Jesus' name. Also read Ephesians 6, which talks about putting on the holy armor of God so that we can withstand the Devil's devices. Let God the Father be your first love over anything else.
