I don’t expect much political education from r/blackpeopletwitter but since we were called out:

Yeah, this is completely different to my own experiences of discussing things with libertarians.

Then I guess as a libertarian who hates big government you're angry at the increasing surveillance state, military industrial complex, and police murdering/robbing citizens?

No?

Every single libertarian I've ever spoken to is massively angry about the increasing surveillance state, military industrial complex, and police murdering/robbing citizens. Just look at this subreddit, for example.

Or that our taxes support a bloated military and surveillance budget

Have you ever met a libertarian who isn't unhappy with taxes supporting a massively bloated military budget? It's something they talk about all the time.

The whole thing reads much more like a conversation this person had with one of those authoritarian clowns that for some reason like to call themselves libertarians while also rejecting libertarian ideology and principles. Especially when you read that last bit where this "libertarian" doesn't know what freedom of speech means and is super angry about people exercising their constitutional rights.
