You make it sound like our news agencies being able to provide a source for their reporting is some preposterous notion. How dare news agencies have sources! How dare news agencies do their research! The nerve!

If you can't prove that the material you printed is based on sources, then you shouldn't be printing news. Period. Did Fox News print another story about Obama's birth certificate being forged? Great, they lied! let's take them to court and have them present evidence that their story was based on actual sources and not just fabricated as a distraction to Russiagate! Bam!

Not satisfied with the outcome? Then you take it to the next forum. You take it all the way up the circuit if you need to. That's how our justice system works, and it inherently has a system of checks and balances in place.
