Donald Trump: What's the lesson here?

when Donald Trump uses the vocabulary of a 12 year old (using small words, over and over again like "much" "very" and "great"), I fail to understand why anyone with common sense here would admire him.

This is a terrible argument.

The average American has the vocabulary of a 12-year-old. You sound educated and smart but you need to stop projecting and understand that most people aren't. So what do you think will connect with the average American most effectively? A ton of big vocabulary words or a bunch of simple small ones?

Trump purposely uses " dumb language"... Because that's all people know. His use of simple words is absolutely brilliant, and its one of the reasons he's winning in the polls. Your "common sense" isn't serving you well because you can't seem to understand that most people are dumb, so all of Trump's rhetoric is designed to appeal to a dumb person. and that's an incredibly smart rhetorical strategy for him to use.

I understand why in some ways he can demonstrate some of the 48 laws. But to say that him not showing up to the debate because of Megyn Kelly is strong... Is not realistic.

Wrong again. He OWNED that debate, simply by not showing up.

It's a HUGE display of strength when you win a debate according to all polls, and you don't even participate in the debate.

The reality is that he's running away from a woman.

Wrong again. He's choosing to display his dominance over a huge multinational corporation that happens to use a woman as its figurehead.

Perhaps I am wrong though and as an educated individual with the ability to see multiple sides to an argument before completely deciding, someone can present an ulterior motive here.

You say you're "educated", and that's exactly your problem. You're projecting. You think that because you're educated, then everyone else must be educated too. Newsflash, they're not.

Why is Donald Trump running away from a woman?

He's not. He's **displaying his dominance over a multinational corporation. If you can't see that, maybe *you're the dumb one.
