Why don't you talk to your once "best friend" anymore?

Sort of the same vein. I told her how I had an awful all-consuming eating disorder and wanted to kill myself due to what I looked like, and over the course of the year I lived with her she kept commenting on food, with choice comments being: "omg I'd kill myself if I ever got to 140 pounds" and "I wish I could be anorexic but I like food too much. I should just learn how to throw it up lol!". Plus a ton of other stuff, calling every meal a "good decision" or "bad decision" and the like. (She was saying all of this for attention, so people would compliment her, not because she was having the same issues.) One time she was texting the guy she liked that we were making food and to come over and have some and that I was there too, and he said to tell me to eat his share or a sandwich or something. She got all pissy and said I'd eaten too much already and he should just come over. I was average weight and she was thinner than me. Let it go.

I got a new best friend and realized how toxic the previous one was - sometimes something she said pops into my head and I go "holy shit, she said that". She also got jealous and mad that I wasn't spending all this time at home with her but instead hanging out with other friends. She gossiped lies to all of our mutual friends who I stopped talking to years ago, so who knows what they think happened or what I'm doing. Oh well.
