Don't waste your GI Bill on flight school at Auburn University!

I use the GI Bill at a similar school. Instructors spread thin, 3 day schedules, weather, etc. Less stage check delays though, and I’m almost done so I’m not transferring. My school also does the minimum flight hour spreadsheet, I think that’s probably a VA thing. Technically it’s not inaccurate. The FAA is saying it takes 35 hours to get an instrument rating at a 141 so the school bills that amount and the VA pays it.

Dude if there were a way for the school to continuously bill the VA for every hour a student spends over the minimum hours required - trust me they would. It’s a VA thing for sure.

Our school is packed too though. Major growing pains trying to fit the amount of interested students in the available planes which are admittedly very nice.

Just try to calm down maybe you sound kinda on edge. How far did you make it at Auburn?
