I mean I don't understand how what some people want to be called is considered political but W.E. This show primarily is about people who are misfits/outcast of society who are learning to cope with their past and who they are now. Also they just happen to have quirky powers. Robot man is pretty self explanatory. Crazy Jane has 64 personalities all with different powers and minimal control with whose at the helm. Larry or negative man the mummy singing was an air force test pilot who had his body become inhabited by a spirit and then he crashed and burned alive but can't die. The spirit also is pretty powerful when it does its thing. Then there is elastigirl who can expand or shrink and stretch her body. She currently sucks with her powers and becomes a giant unstable blob if she becomes upset. Then I'm guessing you know who cyborg is. There isnt really a strong "political" theme as you would put it except for the recent episode.
