Dr. Anthony Fauci Condemns Coronavirus Lockdown Protests

The virus primarily impacts a very targeted segment of the population, it’s no coincidence that skilled nursing facilities are in the news so often. Those most at risk are the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.

The rest of us have very little mortality risk with this virus.

You can start to reopen relatively soon. People can continue (and will continue) to be responsible for their own health. Those who are most vulnerable need to continue isolating the best they can, the rest of us need to wear masks and be mindful of crowds. Large scale events will still be postponed (but possibly televised)

Otherwise, let’s just start making banners to welcome the 21st centuries Great Depression. Because this virus is far too contagious and a vaccine is at least a year away, likely much longer.

People don’t like truths, but the fact that you even have the option to shelter in place and receive government checks is the height of privilege. Many other people in the world do not have this choice, and guess who they are largely exploited by?

Think before you criticize.
