CMV: The only people who don't say that the United States is the greatest country in the world have never lived in another country.

Where else do you have as many freedoms

Depends on what you count as a freedom. The freedom to have a healthy life is something many other countries provide with universal healthcare which is not something we have in the US. The freedom to be able to start your own company without fearing if you can feed your family. The freedom to be able to quit your job if it's miserable and not risk you home. These don't exist in the US and they are a freedom in a certain sense.

can make your own way in the world

The US ranks pretty low for first world countries in terms of social mobility seen here they rank 27th, behind some obvious contenders like Germany and the Scandinavian countries but also behind places like Singapore and Slovenia.

has deep reverence for its armed forces

That's a weird one to me. How does this make a country 'great'?

as diverse in culture and thought

This is a fair one and is tough to measure. However according to this pew research study, out of all western societies Canada is actually more diverse.

The rest of your comments sort of pit the US against war torn countries, which is like saying your dad is strong because he beat up a middle schooler. Few of your points really focus on competitors of the US.
