Drug dealers of reddit, what was the funniest moment you can share with the rest of us?

Not me.

But a neighbor of mine where I used to live used to have a small grow room in his basement and would supply the neighborhood. Pretty small in the scope of things, but he still took it seriously and acted like he was some kingpin. He was a really nice and friendly neighbor though so everyone was nice to him and his live-in gf.

Anyways, one day I was hanging out with him at our buddy's and he tells us he has to go home to 'harvest' so he leaves and we dont think anything of it.

We're watching tv and some breaking news comes on that some guy tried to stab a cop and they were chasing him through an adjacent neighborhood. We are watching this like "oh shit!" and then we see that the guy has been chased into our neighborhood and is literally in our buddy, the dealers, backyard. We're watching as an army of cops surround this guy, and this guy is trying to hide on my buddy's enclosed back porch, where there is also a cellar door down to where my dude's grow room was.

And all of a sudden it hits us, we better call our buddy and tell him whats going on bc he's probably freaking the fucking out thinking he's about to get busted.

So we call him, and he answers his phone in the most freaked out/scared/nervous tone we've ever heard and he's whispering and telling us he's about to go down and all this shit.

And finally we tell him to turn on the tv.

He does so and after a long minute or two he just starts cackling like a crazy person. And is like "holy shit! im so glad you guys called me, I was about 2 seconds away from going out back and surrendering."

We hang up and watch the cops run up and finally grab the guy, who is being cuffed literally on top of the cellar door to the grow room. While my buddy's face was in the kitchen window watching, waiting for the cops to smell it. But apparently they didnt.

And my buddy came over after all the commotion and thanked us until he couldnt talk anymore. Holy shit that was funny, and could've almost resulted in some serious shit for my neighbor.
