During Patrick Rothfuss’s Fallout 4 play-through, he ordered some pizza. The pizza guy recognizes him

I don't know if the people who keep asking him about book 3 are his "fans". Readers, maybe. Any reader who takes the extra step of googling about book 3 will soon find out it's still in the works, there's no publication date, and that the author himself doesn't know when it'll be done. If I already know all this, and I still ask him about book 3 when I get a chance, something must be wrong with me.

If you watch the video, Pat didn't mistreat the guy asking about book three at all, he just complained about it later, while acknowledging that the question "comes from a place of love". What's wrong with him expressing general frustration about being asking about book three everywhere?

I think there's a part of the population that can not imagine anyone "famous" having any sort of valid complaint about life. They imagine if they were themselves in that position their life would be complete and they would be happy ever after.
