Dwarf Gourami is swimming frantically, seems like he’s going blind, and is laying at the bottom of tank. Is this the end of his days?

Some more info: Dwarf Gourami was acting fine 2 weeks ago. I noticed him develop an “S” shape curve 10-11 days ago. Up until this point he was swimming a little odd but didn’t seem to have any trouble, assumed it was due to his crooked back. He started hugging the surface at the tank and only staying in one corner other than to eat. The past couple days he hasn’t been eating or been very active. Today (12/26) I went to feed the fish like usual, he seemed lethargic but still came up to the tank when he saw me. During feeding he was mostly uninterested and only took a couple bites. Immediately after feeding he started acting odd. I noticed one of his eyes appeared to be red, maybe cloudy as well, and looks like some sort of sore or physical damage. His other eye is perfectly normal. He was running into the glass and seemed like he couldn’t really tell where he was. He started swimming frantically and was colliding into the gravel and decor. I’m not sure if he caused harm to himself but it looks like he has abrasions or cuts above his gill. Since feeding he has been laying on the bottom of the tank not moving and breathing heavily, he will occasionally come up for a moment but looks like he has almost no coordination. Sometimes he will swim in a circle frantically. This all started recently so if anyone has any idea what might be wrong with him please let me know. I understand if he’s not curable or treatable but if possible I’d like to know what caused his rapid deterioration. Maybe fish TB?
