I have to say, I am a fan of the series as a concept for sure it at this point it belongs on another denomination. Half dollar, dollar, nickel, whatever. Make a $2 or $5 coin with these women for all I care.

The state quarter followed by national park quarter series made a ton of sense. Then in 2021 they get a new design, and a fantastic one at that. It should have been the new quarter for several more years. Instead, by keeping that design for just one year, they turned the quarter into the gimmick coin.

It doesn't matter that it was women, to be clear. What they've done is shown indecision and that they will slap whatever on a quarter. 2021 should have gone one of two ways--new long term design or new series.

They took the worst possible avenue to implementing this in my opinion
