EA seems to like using this same model over the years.

Tell me you have no clue how games are made without telling me you have no clue how games are made. Games reuse assets. They reuse game engines. Shit gets reused, or every single game would take literal decades to complete. Its the whole "why reinvent the wheel" principle.

I want to understand people who complain about this sort of stuff but truthfully I just don't. Did this really bother you while playing? Even after finding this out through meticulously taking apart screenshots of various games, are you really that offended that some things made by the same developer look the same? This isn't Fifa, it's just some character model that's reused.

This whole thing just reminds me of the criticism Bethesda got some time ago about still using the Creation engine for their next generation of games. People didn't understand every major game developer out there is using some old game engine from like 2003 that they just keep modernizing, because remaking an entire game engine from scratch would be wildly expensive and just stupid.
