Eleven-year-old disabled boy was forcibly baptized at an evangelical church in Chardon, lawsuit says

Some things I've noticed:

  1. Nowhere in the article does it state that the big brother lied or hid his plans for the day, like he didn't say "where going to (x) and went to (y) instead.

  2. The parent(s) call the cops immediately that same once they were told of the days events but charges came of this, kidnapping or anything. You'd think if the kid was traumatized to a point of getting nightmare the parents or cops would have noticed his heightened state of fear.

  3. The article paints a picture of an overbearing big brother the "pushes" "threatens" but the lawsuit is about freedom of religion and nothing else. Feel like typical overextended journalism to trigger clicks

  4. the boy had not suffered any physical injuries and there was no criminal intent to harm their son, the parents said.

So really the parents are upset that the kid participated but if they don't believe in religion the they are then just up set about their kid playing in the water while some guy chatted to his imaginary friend.

Big bother wasn't being malicious but the parents are.
