This is a fairly ironic response to an article that, in my opinion, is really stretching to politicize something that has nothing to do with politics. The Washington Examiner is a solidly right-leaning outlet, and the only one I can find that's made any link between the Smollet story and 2020 Democratic candidates. So it's not democrats who are doing the screeching here.
