I was there with my girlfriend this morning and we go ALL the time. I thought yaknow our Kroger is a little janky at times but it’s a community grocery store and everyone gets along fine. I would NEVER expect that kind of shit to go down there. I’m terribly sorry this happened to you. I can’t believe I wasn’t there when it happened as it must have been only an hour or so difference in time. I would have done the same thing or if I witnessed it I would have documented it, gone straight to the manager afterwards, and demanded action on behalf of their words.

I swear I bought food one time and my cook-in-the-bag pork was leaking and so I took it back the next day and asked an employee to help and without even looking for my receipt she said ask the meat guys to get you a replacement. I walk back to the meat section and ask this employee if it’s okay to get a replacement and they were literally the nicest employee ever and said ‘just walk out with it’ and when I said I was uncomfortable just walking out they were like here let me write you a slip that says ‘paid’ with THEIR initials on it in case anyone didn’t believe me. I’m extremely disappointed that this happened in our community. Fuck knows they wouldn’t say that shit to a confederate flag toting WLM asshole. Who the fuck would start shit over a shirt...
