Even a signed promise means nothing

It is difficult, i find its even harder to do so in person, though from talking to a few people who are hard line conservative here is some of the concerns i feel are valid that are not being discussed at least in good faith.

Religous belief in the west is declining, and of course since Nietzsche published his works and the growing movement of the atheist movement.

While not inherently bad, most of the 20th century evil was perpetrated by people who were either atheist or even anti religious and yes there is plenty of that in religions past, the common thread is dogmatism and that seems to be the real problem we all seem to be facing, politically, spiritually or any ideology.

The direct concern expressed by one christian i know is that while we are all becoming more tolerant of others, there seems to be a growing resentment towards christians who are trying to hold onto their belief, while special favors for muslims and Sikhs seems to be growing.

While I don't quite agree with this critique, as christians receive just as many benefits imo, there does seems to be a problem with no head gear allowed to be worn by public officials, hats, cowboy hats in particular which especially in proud Alberta, why should a hijab be allowed that blocks parts of the face while a cowboy hat that does not do that and signals cowboy pride be disallowed?

I dont have time to go into all the concerns, but i feel like these two examples point out that there is a conversation being missed in the name of inclusion that is dividing people.
