Have you ever laughed so hysterically at something so simple you were starting to get legitimately worried that you were losing your sanity or something? About what were you laughing so hard then?

I was in law school, sitting with my buddy in the back of a large Civil Procedure class. We were playing Snood on our laptops and not paying much attention, but heard the professor mention “quasi-in rem jurisdiction”. My buddy goes “quasi-in rem? That’s quayyyyyyzeeeeeeee” and something about the way he said it made me lose it. It started with both of us quietly laughing, eventually we couldn’t even look at each other without giggling like idiots, people in class kept turning and looking asking wtf was happening, the professor eventually got wind of it and stopped the lecture, but I just couldn’t stop laughing. I was equally embarrassed and giddy, red-faced and sweaty from trying to stop the uncontrollable laughter and the embarrassment of being a grown-ass man not being able to control the giggles, I had to exit stage left out the side door and hid in the hallway until class was over
