Everyone's had that ONE roommate. What's your roommate horror story?

So uh...I think she tried to poison me. There were a lot of red flags, but that was the major one.

I started rooming with this girl who I'll call Nicole. She seemed really nice and we started hanging out. Everything seemed great. At some point, about a month in, she asked to borrow my phone card because she lost hers. She just needed to make one phone call and she'd pay me back. No problem. About a month later, my dad calls me in a panic. She'd rung up close to $100 in charges. Which he was upset about, but the more worrying thing was the way she rung up the charges. She was basically stalking someone. She'd call this one number over and over for like an hour. My dad was worried I was having some sort of mental break down. I confronted her about it and she said "Yeah, I was having trouble getting ahold of my ex, so I had to make a few phone calls...sorry" As if it was nothing. lol She wrote me a check on the spot, it cleared, and that was the end of it. There was also one day where I wanted her to come visit me at work, but she couldn't because she was banned for shoplifting a year ago. Yikes. But she claimed it was her friend who did it and she wasn't involved, yada yada.

A few weeks later, we're walking on campus and we pass a couple girls who shot her a dirty look. She told me one of them was a former roomate who was "psycho". Apparently the girl had called the cops on her and claimed she put something in her roomate's drink. The police interrogated her but eventually had to let her go without filing charges. Aside from the phone thing, she seemed really normal, so I believed her and assumed the other girl as the psycho.

A couple weeks after that, I was hanging out with someone else who introduced me to their friend. Apparently the friend used to live with her and she had another story for me: they had to go to the ER one night because they left her alone with their food and she put peanuts in it, which they have a severe reaction to. This was a different girl than we saw in the quad. So now I have two independent stories of her putting things in people's food/drinks.

So then I thought back on the past few weeks. She was really insistent upon me eating food or drinks she had. I'm really picky, so I always said no, but she would bring me drinks that were opened and insist that she didn't want them anymore after drinking a tiny sip. It really creeps me out thinking about it. I transferred to the sorority house at the end of the semester and was glad to be rid of her.
