Do you experience any form of racism or segregation nowadays? If yes, how?

The American South is actually increasingly similar to South Africa in terms of demographics. Florida has a Jewish upper-class and a black/hispanic underclass. Atlanta, Georgia is mostly black city that is pretty black nationalist. Tennessee is extremely black and people call Memphis "Memphrica". It can be EXTREMELY dangerous if you are not black. People seem to think that Memphis is the same Memphis of Elvis Presley's time - it's not. It's a giant slum and everyone is on section 8 and the government can steal with impunity.

The thing is that in the American south these days, black nationalism and black racism is tolerated in the same way that it is in South Africa because of the legacy of historical injustice.

Anyone that thinks the South is majority white and Klansman drive around in pickup trucks lynching blacks is about 40 years old in their knowledge. It hasn't been like that in a LONG time. There are lots of good books that talk about the demographic change in the south. This is one good example:
