Extremely Convoluted Theoretical Dietry Law Question

I took it to demonstrate to man the specific reason why God doesnt wish for us to consume blood (other than the fact that animal blood was frequently consumed in pagan rituals, and thay we shouldn't utilise pagan rituals in our worship of God nor elsewhere within our lives; but I digress).

Does your logic (though perhaps not your argument, I'm not saying your overall point is flawed) not fall apart if I say in response to "If it was just forbidding blood, why add the word "life"?" with "If it was forbidding eating animal parts from a live animals, then why not say outright?"?

Is your view unanimous within Judaism (both modern and historic) out of interest?

Thanks for your time. You, along with other commentators have helped me a lot.
