Facebook Vegans...

Go to a vegan restaurant. Find a highly rated one. Don't cook for yourself.

I haven't really been able to find many vegan restaurants around my area. Most restaurants have some vegan dishes, and I simply don't like the majority of them. Besides, the ridiculous advice of "Don't cook for yourself" annoys me to no end. You're saying I should go to a bloody expensive restaurant every fucking day in order to satisfy your vegan needs?

What the hell are you doing then? Why would you ever cook something where you don't like the majority of the ingredients??

You just told me that I shouldn't dismiss it without trying...

Do you not understand how basic supply and demand work? Do you really think that all the people who have gotten vegetarian/vegan on the planet haven't reduced demand for meat?

One person who stops eating meat is not gonna do shit. And that is the problem, you may want me to stop and then tell me that "IF EVERYONE THOUGHT LIKE THAT NOTHING WAS GONNA HAPPEN."

Yeah, too bad. Everyone thinks like that and you're not going to change it. Plain and simple.

Besides, for every piece of meat I don't eat, someone else will take it. You know why? Because the population everywhere is growing.

Wait a second. "Necessary" means "what I like" to you? That's a really, really odd definition of the word.

Necessary means what I need to get through my day. I decide whether I need something to get through my day, you don't.

Again, the suffering and death of the animals is a reason to give it up.

Why? What do I care about them? I care as little about animals in the meat industry as I care about some goat being eaten by hunting animal.

Cue the preachy vegan stereotype of insulting me.
