Holy shit. It's been proven that fat people don't get proper treatment for things unrelated to their fat because doctors can't see past the fat and diagnose appropriately. My friend had terrible stomach pains she did everything in her power change of diet try to lose weight the pain persisted when she went to her doctor several times each time the doctor refused to do any further testing and said she just need to lose weight. She almost died of stomach cancer because a doctor refused to look beyond the fat. I live this. I know this well. I was on the doctor's table getting a pap smear I was 19 years old completely unrelated she said if I lose weight she will do the plastic surgery so I can lose the apron of skin. I'm very first pap smear Lex went apart expose the world if she want to talk to me about my diet she could have done that separately my pap smear had nothing to do with my fat or the apron of skin on my stomach. Ffs I get treated differently because I'm fat I am saying that is not right.

My point is the doctor was so focused on my fat and not on my actual earache which caused me to lose work and disrupt my life he refused to do any further testing and thought I was overreacting based on his internal fat biases. He couldn't put my fat aside for a moment and actually discussed the little pain I was experiencing in my ear. He kept bringing it back to my weight. Holy s*** did I come in about my weight no I came in about my ear. If you want to discuss my wait let's do that on a separate appointment not while I have swimmer's ear.
