Feds flag Bernie Sanders campaign contributions

LOLOL. Okay, first off, this was a manufactured scandal.

No actual data was stolen.

It was the fault of the company that manages the DNC's voter database. Their application had no security, and they did not know how to set up permissions. As a software developer, its painfully obvious who is at fault. The company who managed the software & the DNC.

The Bernie campaign notified the company in question and the DNC multiple times that the accounts were not secure, that privileges were not set correctly. NOTHING WAS DONE.

Then the Bernie campaign went about documenting the extent that the accounts were not secure, and the laxity of group permissions in order to submit the information to the DNC & the company so it can be fixed.

This is called doing a nice thing.

Instead the Hillary spin machine took this DNC incompetence and spinned it as Bernies campaign doing something bad, instead of being the good samaritans that they were. As a result, the DNC locked Bernie's campaign out of their OWN DATA at a CRITICAL time.

This scandal, is in fact, a scandal. For how slanted and one-sided the DNC's support is of the Clinton Machine.

Trust a software developer/programmer. I was actually very interested in this event when it happened, and did a LOT of digging. At the time, I wasn't even a Bernie supporter. But after reading all the facts, and getting as much objective information I could, I came to the conclusion that you see above.

Timeline of events: 1) Bernie campaign notices that anyone can view their database, and they can view other's database.

2) They notify the company in charge of managing the software.

3) Company does nothing / ignores the fact they have not followed basic security protocols.

4) Bernie's campaign documents the extent that the software is insecure. (Following proper qa/testing procedures that any generous computer literate person would in this situation would, so they can deliver a comprehensive bug report to the product owner)

5) News comes out about the insecure software.

6) Clinton campaign jumps on it to attack the Sanders Campaign. Company denies any incompetence, like any company would, in order to save face.

7) DNC act like dicks

8) 24 hour new cycle fallout of shitstorm.

Believe me or not, but that is the gist of what happened.
