First artists, now authors…

This is stupid. People seek careers in art because they like creating. They're scared of AI art killing their jobs bc a) the prospect of unemployment is scary, and b) if you have to work a shitty 9-5 it's harder to find time to make art at all, and probably harder to make good art. There's obviously reason that through basically all of human civilisation we've recognised the value of paying naturally talented creatives for making art - it produces better work.

If you hear "I am concerned that ai is going to take away my livelihood that gives me the money I use to buy food" and head "I never actually cared about creating art I just did it for money" that's completely on you and your gross cynicism.
