I lived in a haunted house and whatever was there definitely didn't like me.

Hubby and I were separating in a few weeks when I was moving to another state to be near my family. He comes home from a very late flight and goes to the guest room at 2 am so as not to wake me. I am just laying there in bed, thinking to myself, 'should I stay and work things out or should I go-'

At that instant, the basement door to the outside, directly under the bed I was in, slammed so hard that the entire house shook and every window rattled loudly. I screamed and my husband came running. I told him there was someone in the basement - he grabbed his glock, turned the lights on and ran downstairs naked. After a few minutes he come upstairs and asked what I heard. I told him and he was quiet. He then said that the only door down there was dead bolted and there was a laundry basket in front of it. There was no one there. Furthermore he didn't hear the door slam or the effects on the house.

I moved out not long after. I spoke to a paranormal team and, apparently, these type things can be directed to only certain people and won't be heard or noticed by others.
