I have idiotic relatives in Florida who are doing their part to spread COVID19.

On Saturday they were arguing with my mom claiming that masks are harmful, that COVID19 is "just a flu", and claiming that there's nothing to worry about Florida's increasing cases because it's just due to increased testing of young people who aren't symptomatic so they can't spread it and [insert all the Fox News talking points here].

Then literally the next day, Sunday, my grandma was admitted to the hospital for COVID19 and given an extremely poor prognosis. The rest of the relatives there were tested and they were ALL positive.

My grandma was really good at social distancing and masking (cause she's old as fuck), and her assisted care community has stringent measures and hasn't had a single case among staff or residents ever. But she was visiting my relatives frequently on weekends. The relatives do not social distance or mask, go to bars 2-3 times a week since things reopened, and work in jobs with high client contact (healthcare and spas). 100% they gave it to her during their visit last weekend.

Relatives were told to quarantine and all of them are disobeying that order and hiding it from their employers because "we don't have symptoms, so we can't spread it, which means we don't need to quarantine." I'd report their dumbfuck asses to the DoH or something but I don't have info on them beyond their names. My parents cut their toxic families out of their lives years ago, except for emergencies like this.
