My Hoya Australis has been looking a little mottled for some time now, with a few darker circles on some of the leaves nearer the top.
It’s always looking a bit wrinkled and soft so I upped the watering a little since it’s been warmer.
This was a mistake. The bottom leaves started yellowing, one of which rotted off, another two pulled off pretty easily though weren’t rotten.
Pretty sure I overwatered, but I’m thinking there was something else going on first.
What tends to cause the leaves to be wrinkly and ‘leathery’?
It’s under a grow light where I have a number of other happy plants including Hoyas. I generally don’t have issues with any of my Hoyas so this is perplexing me a bit....
Humidity in this room is usually around 40% which is low but not super low.
