It seems like the same as you. My parents, specially my mother are are always right, and always wrong. I can open up much about something on my life bothering, because it’s going to be really poorly dealt with or used against me. Also, she acts as she know more about what I want, need and think more than I do. And there is the thing were they think are helping but actually just saying what’s wrong when my life, as if I don’t think about it enough. And when I don’t want to deal with any rude or unhelpful attitude, it’s supposedly because I don’t want to hear the “truth”, when she doesn’t accept any criticism of her behavior, from no one.

This is more with my mother, my father can be nice, but he is more passive, acting like that more under her influence. I won’t fix them, so being a position either financial and emotional, where they have a smaller impact on my life is the way to go
