I wrote this for my girlfriend on our anniversary: At a carnival of celebration, celebration of devils most foreign, you crashed into my world. And stirred a rare storm of ebb and flow, Across my uneventful paradigms. Beast of a woman, you. And I wrote her this recently: Silence, you give me, silence of the mind. Silence, the most precious of gifts, for a mind as noisy as mine. This next one's one of my favorites, even though it doesn't have a rhyming scheme: And lady, quite frankly, your mind warrants nothing but praise. Kinsmen chasing after your gown with bags of rose petals. Cleansing your path with romantic gesture to make sure no-one misses the fact that here steps a special kind of person. A superior being, if you will.
I wrote this one for my ex-fiancee: Neither moon nor star, Nor the sun, Know shine, Like Starshine, my starshine, My Lady from the West. She is the beacon of hope, The light The Dark She is My everything. She is reason, She is doubt, She is anger unbridled And she is my unrest. She stole my slumber. Where motionless I stood, She swept in on thunder on lightning across my skies, To veil my world, With her veil, uncover it For the first time ever, I see, and she is, I see. The lighting she was And like lighting her beauty, It blinds those around her, It blinds me in agony. She is agony, She is despair, She is pain She is the scar I wear. And like a scar, I carry her, I carry her, My stigma, I carry her, Within my soul And unlike a scar, For unlike a scar she is, I do not suffer her, No, I’m at peace I’m in love, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.
There's a reason it's so macabre, she was a shrew of a woman. xP
