For those who recruited the Black Eagles/Golden Deer students in the Azure Moon route

I feel like most of them make a helluva lot more sense than BL kids' reasoning in CF.

I'd like to contest this, honestly. Every single student joining in Crimson Flower makes sense to me (yes, even Mercedes), because Crimson Flower is the route which has a huge, life-changing event involved.

Like... Whichever students you recruit are there with you in the Holy Tomb. They see the entire proceedings after you subdue Edelgard. They see their professor side with Edelgard, and they see Rhea begin raving about tearing their professor's heart out before turning into a dragon and attempting to kill her.

That's enough to shake anyone's worldview. Like, imagine if that happened in real life. Imagine if a devout Catholic saw the Pope start rambling about murdering their school teacher, and then saw him turn into a dragon. That's enough to shake anyone's faith.

That's enough to turn anyone against the Church. I think it's justified for any student to side with Edelgard in that moment.
