Yes, the book They Were Her Property by Stephanie Jones-Rogers was really eye opening for me in this regard - how white women often get a pass (especially from other white women) for other forms of bigotry because 1) of the pervasive white supremacist view of white women as somehow inherently vulnerable, "innocent" and worth protecting and 2) the common belief that sexism/the patriarchy is the primary form of oppression and all others are secondary.

Hence we get excuses for all manner of bigotry from white women, especially ones with multiple other forms of privilege, because of assumptions that the woman in question is "being manipulated" by a man and isn't exercising agency.
