France Rejects Fear, Renews Commitment To Take In 30,000 Syrian Refugees

It's all well and good having politicians say this, but when that firecracker was let out at the memorial in Paris the brave face everyone was putting on was exposed as a crude mask, underneath everyone in Europe is terrified, angry, confused, the tension is palpable. Thousands of people are leaving France, did you see that video earlier of that little Asian boy and his father, how terrified that little kid was? He thought that they were going to leave France, he kept explaining to his father how they had guns and were going to kill him, his dad was extremely sweet and to kids a war across the world can feel like it's happening across the street from your house so it's important to make sure to explain the danger to them properly, but rather than seeing images like that as sweet they break my heart and make me angry, so angry. Seeing the flowers trampled, people fleeing for blocks... There was another bomb found at the stadium where Germany and the Netherlands were going to play, the Russian plane that went down was due to a bomb, there was a foiled plan to attack tourists at a beach in Tunisia as well. It's all well and good saying Islam is a religion of peace and that muslims around the world reject the violence, but please realize that for a lot of people these attacks signify a new phase in the war on terror, a second major attack in Paris in such a short period of time and we're now aware that ISIS was not lying when they said that they were sending soldiers through with migrants. I think a civil war will break out in Europe eventually, a mosque is going to get bombed or a demonstration by muslims is going to get attacked, and I think that could so easily lead to retaliation that could spiral out of control, that's the governments biggest fear, but the more they dismiss the threats and the less action is taken the more likely it is that it will happen. I would have no problem attacking someone who publically pledged support for ISIS / Islamic extremism right now, I think people including myself are shaken up and angry.
