Nope electrolysis wasnt needed for me but im sure they would edge on the more cautious side if there was any doubt whether it was needed or not due to potential complications if enough hair was grown inside the urethra. I'm considering electrolysis now though due to not being bothered to shave every few days or so.

I assume with how long the wait lists are here now (12-14 months between stages) that they'd put you on the waiting list as you'd likely be done before the surgery date, though if you were in the middle of treatment and were offered a quick cancellation surgery I think they'd have to turn you down as there's regulations involving even shaving within a certain amount of days prior to surgery.

Hystos are typically done in stage 2 here so I've yet to get that done
