So many factors from influential internet personalities like Anthony Fantano to big publications like Rolling Stones directly or indirectly contributed to this anti-Em sentiment and Americans being as gullible to tribalism as they are, they bought the fuck into it. If you listened to Eminem without knowing anything about him and dont like him or his rapping, then that's fine. But if you go into his music with a predisposition of him being a culture vulture, miracle lyrical rapper, not play in the hoods etc, then you're no longer thinking for yourself.
