GameStop rules itself 'essential retail' and therefore immune to lockdown closures

the best part of blockbuster was the actual trip and time spent with family/friends. go to blockbuster on a friday night. grab some snacks. spend longer than you can imagine, browsing movies and all the covers. then head next door to grab a pizza for the sleepover/weekend.

people that don't understand it, are probably too young to really appreciate being able to have tangible products. that experience has been diluted by digital distribution. while digital products are super convenient and accessible, being able to buy anything you want with a swipe or click makes the buying experience mundane. for example, i buy physical copies of switch games when i can. i always love going to the store and picking it up. whenever i buy an eShop game, i don't nearly have as much excitement.
