Routine: I use the pink herbal essences conditioner, combed through in the shower. Afterwards I use mrs. Jessie’s curl lotion, some curl talk mousse and finger coil my bangs. Then I plop my hair in a T-shirt to air dry :).

I live in Hawaii and grew up here. I suffered through a lot of bad haircuts as a kid, because no one knew how to cut my hair. After salons repeatedly messing up my hair here, I’ve decided to just start to cut it myself.

I used to get Japanese straight perms (don’t do it guys, it will ruin your hair) that completely ruined my hair. I went natural when I was 17. Suffered through a few more botched haircuts until I started cutting it to my own liking.

I’m pretty OK with my current skills. I’ll be visiting Georgia in may so I might try to get a professional haircut there for the first time in forever lol.
