General advice for making the next step?

My personal advice is do not just jump in gung ho. Do a little more every week. I think most if not all of us have that fear of man in drag to begin with so start with thing others won't see. Build your confidence over time by changing little things in your life a constant slow change towards your end goal.

Start learning how to shave your legs.

Shave your chest and stomach too to start getting used to what

Start moiturising.

Sit down to pee.

Buy some womens underwear and wear them daily. Seriously this is awesome we have so much choice in underwear. Nobody will ever know even in boy mode.

Get some female straight leg jeans. Im still not out to everyone and nobody ever questions my female jeans. Why did nobody ever tell me womens jeans stretch? They are so comfy. I feel good wearing them.

Get some makeup yesterday. Seriously makeup takes a lot of practice and you will need all the time you can get to get decent results. You will likely make a mess the first few time just smile and laugh and clean it all off and try again. BB cream is a godsend you can use as little or as much as you like I use it even in boy mode sometimes just to smooth out imperfections on the days I look terrible. Eyeliner is a good next step. Tightline your upper lashes to make them look thicker and darker. pluck your brows too to get rid of that unruly mess. You can pluck a little more each week for a gradual change nobody will really notice if there are people you are still not out to.

Start growing your hair out. Hair only grows several inches a year so you need all the time in the world. Depending on your mpb you can get finasteride form boots online and minoxidil (regaine) to start filing in the crown and hairline. It takes TIME! Literally months before you even start seeing a couple of new hairs wondering if they are or you just never noticed them before. Try not to obsess over it. The hair will come for most of us To a certain extent.
